In my freshman year of college I started to really take my fitness journey serious. Since then, it’s been five years, and I've gone through several fitness trainers, workout supplements, and body BMI scales

I used all of these tools to help me stay on track as I went deeper into my obsession for fitness and health. 

The Importance of an Accurate BMI Scale

One thing I truly valued throughout my process was having an accurate BMI scale. The body mass index scale, for me, was the most reliable. It provided the accuracy I needed to meet the high standards that I was chasing.

That's not to say the other tools I used were not helpful. However, the BMI scale was always there—morning, noon, and night—giving me that extra nudge I needed to stay focus.

Even though an accurate BMI scale is on the more expensive side, they're very much worth it in my opinion. Plus, you know what they say, “you get what you pay for.” I believe that rings true when it comes to these scales and their accuracy. 

I was truly able to track my progress. Without question, I got results that really helped shape all my health decisions.

When it told me my visceral fat was too high, I went to work on my stomach area. When it said my BMI was in the overweight range, I hit the gym more and switched up my diet.

Those little tweaks led to big peeks that improved my overall health. I saw the improvement physically, mentally, and on the scale. 

I mean, this thing really kept me on top of my game, guiding me in the right direction.

With the built in technology of bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), BMI scales are able to give you a comprehensive overview of your body composition by sending a small electric current through the body. 

This is what allows the scale to have the accuracy for individual metrics such as BMI, body fat percentage, muscle mass, bone density and body water. And though it's not perfect, the data is beneficial. It can really help with your progress and fitness goals.

Overall, an accurate BMI scale has genuinely helped me. I recommend it to anyone who is trying to create and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The BMI scale is a simple tool you can use everyday. Also, you can rely on it to stay up to date with your health. Sometimes, it’s the simple things that can be the most useful.
